1. Data We Collect & How It Is Used

Short4U is engineered with data minimization principles. We do not sell your personal data or participate in third-party cross-app data broker networks.

We only process data strictly necessary to deliver high-quality video streaming:

  • Authentication Information: Sign in with Apple or Google creates an anonymized identifier so your watchlist and VIP status can be restored across devices.
  • Playback Progress: Timestamp positions are securely cached to enable seamless video resumption.
  • Subscription Status: Apple App Store and Google Play purchase tokens verify active VIP passes without storing your credit card credentials.

2. Account & Data Deletion Right

Under Apple App Store Guideline 5.1.1(v) and GDPR/CCPA, you hold the absolute right to delete your account and all associated personal data at any time directly in the app (Profile -> Settings -> Delete Account) or by emailing privacy@short4u.com.

Upon receiving an account deletion request, your user records, watch history, and authentication associations are permanently purged from our servers within 48 hours.

3. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Short4U is rated 12+ / Teen and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please notify us immediately at privacy@short4u.com so we can delete the information.

4. Data Security & Global Storage

All network communication between your device and Short4U servers is encrypted using industry-standard TLS 1.3 encryption. Media streaming is served over high-speed encrypted Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) with zero caching of personal identifiers.
